Uzbekistan, Tashkent. VII International Piano Competition“Singing Piano”

Round 1: February 10–14, 2026 (online)
Round 2: May 1–3, 2026 (in-person/offline)
Applications are accepted until February 1, 2026.

Pianists aged 8 to 25 are invited to participate: students of music schools, arts schools, specialized schools, music colleges, conservatories, and higher musical institutions.

The competition consists of two rounds:
Round 1 — remote (online)
Round 2 — in-person, Tashkent/Uzbekistan

Age categories:

  • I Junior Group: 8–10 years
  • II Junior Group: 11–13 years
  • I Middle Group: 14–16 years
  • II Middle Group: 17–19 years
  • I Senior Group: 20–22 years
  • II Senior Group: 23–25 years

Program Requirements

Round 1:

  • Polyphony,
  • Etude
    (The recording may be made at home. The performer must introduce themselves: name and surname, age, country and city.)

Round 2:

  • Extended/virtuosic piece,
  • Large form (1st movement or 2nd and 3rd movements of a sonata, or variations, or 1st movement of a concerto).

The program must correspond to the participant’s age or exceed it in terms of difficulty.

A competitive-qualification evaluation system is used.
Participants who score 80 points or higher advance to Round 2.

Competition Awards

Results and awards are determined separately for each age group:

  • Grand Prix (200 total points for both rounds) with an award equivalent to 300 USD
  • Titles of Laureate of I, II, III degree, commemorative prizes for 1st prize winners, special diplomas, and other awards.

Participants who do not advance to Round 2 receive Participant Diplomas of the “Singing Piano” competition.

Financial Conditions (Registration Fee)

  • Registration fee for Round 1: 35 EUR
  • Registration fee for Round 2:
    • Junior groups: 80 EUR
    • Middle and senior groups: 100 EUR

If a participant withdraws from the competition, the fee is non-refundable.

Applications must be submitted on the website www.musicclassic.eu by February 1, 2026,
or sent to music-classic.kz@mail.ru or olimpiada@musicclassic.eu.

  • Payment for Round 1: until February 5, 2026
  • Round 1 auditions: February 10–14, 2026
  • Round 1 results: February 15–17, 2026
  • Payment for Round 2: until March 15, 2026
  • Round 2 auditions: May 1–2, 2026
  • Round 2 awarding ceremony: May 3, 2026

When submitting the application, attach the payment receipt.
