PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

  • Instrumentalists: perform one piece of free choice, total duration not exceeding 5 minutes.
  • Vocalists: perform one piece of free choice, total duration not exceeding 5 minutes.
  • Dancers: perform one dance with a total duration not exceeding 5 minutes. An ensemble/group may present several dances, but no more than 3 in each age category. In this case, each dance counts as a separate application, with a separate list of participants, and is paid separately at a discount. Each ensemble/group has the right to enter no more than 9 performances in different categories and age groups.
  • Fine Arts: provide one piece of work in any technique and defend it before the jury (all necessary materials according to the technique used must be brought along). A plein air session is also provided; based on plein air results, additional diplomas and awards are granted (bring all necessary materials and an easel).
  • Decorative & Applied Arts: oral presentation/defense.
  • Multiple Participation: participation in 2 or more categories is permitted.

AWARDS AND EVALUATION RULES

  • Award ceremony and prize presentation will take place on stage.
  • Contestants do not have the right to inspect evaluation protocols of the competition program without permission of the Jury Chairman. The Jury’s decision is final and not subject to appeal!
  • Evaluation scores according to competition protocols are not open for public discussion. Directors may receive an extract from the jury meeting minutes by post or email within 7 working days.
  • Results of competition performances will be published on Instagram: @souz_talantov within 3 working days after the competition ends.
  • Awards: Medals and diplomas of international standard are provided for participants and winners. Winners of 1st Prizes and Grand Prix will receive commemorative gifts and certificates for participation in other festivals organized by ALLIANCE OF TALENTS and/or World Music in Kazakhstan. All teachers receive diplomas of appreciation (letters of thanks).
  • Cups are awarded to groups/ensembles of over 10 people. One group diploma is issued to the director; group members receive a commemorative medal with the competition logo and a personalized diploma. Regardless of the number of dances, group members receive one medal and one diploma! If the group desires a diploma and medal for each participant for each performance, each performance is paid without a discount.
  • Participant’s full name will be copied exactly as specified in the application.
  • The Jury evaluates performances by secret ballot and may divide the title of Laureate among several participants. The Jury’s decision is final and non-appealable. The number of prize places is not limited. The Organizer is not responsible for Jury decisions and placement awards.

TERMS AND REGULATIONS

  • Audience & Badges: Entrance fee for spectators is 6 GEL. Directors and participants enter free with badges. Each director must wear a badge with the following information: Full Name, Ensemble/Group Name, City.
  • Audio Tracks: All tracks must be sent to grand-olimpiada@mail.ru no later than 15 days before arrival. Each track/backing track must include in its filename: 1. Composition title as specified in the application; 2. Ensemble name / Participant’s Full Name.
  • Cancellations & Refunds: If a participant cannot attend due to any reason, the registration fee is non-refundable. Refunds for accommodation packages follow hotel policy: 15–30 days prior to arrival – bank charges + cost of 1 night deducted; 10–15 days prior to arrival – 30% retained; less than 10 days prior – 100% retained.
  • Appreciation Letters: If a letter of appreciation is needed for a school/studio director or manager, specify exact Full Name, titles, and exact reasons for appreciation in the application.
  • Consent: Submitting an application implies that participants and their parents (legal representatives) have read and agreed to all terms of these Regulations and grant consent to the Organizer for using photo and video materials with their participation in media and social networks.
  • Stage & Backstage Rules: Throwing foreign objects on stage (confetti, feathers), using props with fire, foam, or water is strictly prohibited. Street shoes are forbidden on stage, even during rehearsals. Only the choreographer and invited participants for the next scheduled number are allowed backstage. Entering backstage without invitation or stepping down into the hall from the stage is prohibited. Dressing room allocation is managed by the Organizer; occupying another group’s dressing room is forbidden.
  • Behavior & Conduct: Incorrect or offensive behavior on stage, in dressing rooms, or in the auditorium towards host staff, Organizer, Jury members, or other participants is strictly prohibited.
  • Liability & Security: The Organizer is not liable for accidents or theft during the event and award ceremony. Choreographers-directors and parents (legal representatives) bear financial liability for property damage. The Organizer is not liable for copyrighted choreography. Participants and parents bear full responsibility for their health and personal belongings.
  • Use of Fees: Registration fees are used for event organization: hall rental, decoration, awards and promo materials, host/volunteer fees, jury fees, etc. In case of insufficient participants, the event may be canceled with a full refund of registration fees.
  • Disqualification: In case of violation of terms, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants without refunding the registration fee.

PRELIMINARY PROGRAM

Day 1: Transfer from Tbilisi Airport to the venue/accommodation. Sightseeing bus tour. Hotel check-in. Registration with the Organizing Committee. Dinner* at 19:00 (cold dinner provided for late arrivals).

Day 2: 07:00–08:30 Breakfast. 09:00 Rehearsals (subject to availability). Escort to venue. Excursion to Mtskheta*. 13:00 Guided walking tour of Old Town Tbilisi. 20:00 Dinner*.

Day 3: 07:00–08:30 Breakfast. 09:00 Escort to competition venue. 10:00 Performances in Arts & Culture categories. Excursion to Kakheti (Bodbe, Sighnaghi, Gremi, Nekresi)*. 20:00 Dinner*.

Day 4: 07:00–08:30 Breakfast. Excursion to Kazbegi (Ananuri, Gudauri, Kazbegi)*. 19:00 Festive Award Ceremony based on competition results. 20:00 Dinner*.

Day 5: 07:00–08:30 Breakfast. Transfer to airport. Departure.

Note: This schedule is for informational purposes. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to alter the schedule based on received applications and technical requirements.

Optional Second Event (Subject Olympiad in Math, Physics, Biology, Russian, or English): Additional 50 EUR / person
