Vocal, Dance, Instrumental Music, Fine Arts, and other nominations according to accepted applications. No age restrictions.

School students can also participate in the Olympiad in the following subjects:

JURY:

The festival jury includes teachers and experts from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, and Italy.

In addition to participation in the Olympiad, the program includes presentations of European schools, colleges, and universities. Excursions in Budapest. Opportunity to choose an additional program and participate in two festivals.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

  • For Instrumentalists: 1 piece of free choice, total duration up to 5 minutes.
  • For Vocalists: 1 piece of choice, total duration up to 4 minutes.
  • Choreography: For all categories and ages, 1 performance up to 5 minutes.
  • For Decorative & Applied Arts and Fine Arts: 1 finished work and materials to recreate a fragment of the work in the presence of the jury (at least ¼ of the work).
  • For Recitatives: 1 piece or extract, total duration up to 3 minutes.
  • For Compères / Hosts: 2 speeches on different topics, total duration up to 4 minutes. One speech on a free topic, the second introducing a composer, poet, writer, or artist.
  • For Fashion Theaters and Designers: 1 showcase, duration up to 10 minutes.
  • For Theater Groups: 1 performance, duration up to 10 minutes for groups up to 5 people, and up to 15 minutes for groups of 6 or more people.

Evaluation Criteria: Artistry, brightness of artistic image, stage stamina, understanding of epoch style, technical clarity, purity of execution.

Scoring System: The jury evaluates according to a qualification system. The number of winners is unlimited and depends solely on the participant’s level of preparation.

When selecting a candidate for the Grand Prix award, in case of candidates with equal scores, the final decision rests with the Chairman of the Organizing Committee.

In each nomination and age category, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree Laureates as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree Diplomates are selected.

The jury reserves the right to split places, prizes, and other awards among participants.

All participants are awarded commemorative certificates “For Participation”.

All teachers, sponsors, and team leaders are issued a certificate.

PROGRAM NO. 1 (PRELIMINARY): 19.03-23.03 2027

Day 1: Transfer from Budapest airport to accommodation (official meeting time from 08:00 to 20:00 is included in the package price. For flights arriving earlier or later, an individual transfer fee is calculated and paid separately). Hotel check-in. Registration with the Organizing Committee. Budapest City Tour. Dinner at 19:00. For late flights – cold dinner*.

Day 2: 07:00 – 08:30 Breakfast. 10:00 Opening of the competition. Presentation of the jury and educational institutions. Time for lunch. Optional excursion chosen by the group* (ordered and paid in advance together with the Olympiad package). Free time for those not going on excursions. Danube boat cruise. Dinner*.

Day 3: 07:00 – 08:30 Breakfast. 09:00 Optional excursion chosen by the group* (ordered and paid in advance together with the Olympiad package). Free time or visit to thermal baths for those not going on excursions. 19:00 Awarding Ceremony and Gala Concert. Dinner*.

Day 4: 07:00 – 08:30 Free time for city walks, thermal baths. For those wishing to extend the program: see options below. Dinner*.

Day 5: 07:00 – 08:30 Transfer to the airport.

Package includes:

  • Accommodation: 4 nights in a 3* hotel in triple rooms.
  • Meals: Breakfast (dinners available upon advance request from 20 EUR).
  • Transfers airport-hotel-airport (only on official arrival/departure days within specified time ranges. For guests arriving on other days, transfer cost is calculated based on group size and time. Official meeting times 08:00–20:00 are included).
