YOUTH MULTIDISCIPLINARY OLYMPIAD

Nominations:

Mathematics, Physics*, Biology, Linguistics (English, French, German, Russian, Italian), Art and Culture

Objectives and tasks:

  • development of creative abilities in talented youth
  • creation of conditions for intellectual development and support of gifted schoolchildren and students
  • assistance to youth in professional orientation and choice of educational directions
  • testing of knowledge and skills in conditions of competition before state and entrance exams
  • confidence in the quality of knowledge gained or identification of “gaps” before a serious life choice of profession
  • exchange of experience, knowledge and live communication with youth from other countries
  • exchange of experience for teachers

PARTICIPATION:

Children from 10 to 25 years old are invited to participate, accompanied by parents or group leaders.

Prizes:

Olympiad Grand Prix: 1 week at a summer language school in Europe or participation with accommodation in the Olympiad in Europe.

Nomination for Foreign Languages

Round I. Grammar and vocabulary test

Round  II . Essay

Round III – speaking.
(Participant 0-29, Pass 30-59, Achievement 60-79, Excellence 80-100).

Nomination in Mathematics and Physics is held in one round.

Nomination in the areas of “Art and Culture” is held in one round.

Regulations for instrumentalists and vocalists: 1 or 2 different pieces of free choice or one virtuoso piece or one part of a classical sonata/concert (performance time up to 8 minutes)

Regulations for choreography: 1 or 2 numbers, with a total duration of no more than 10 minutes.

Regulations for decorative and applied arts and visual arts: present one finished work and defend it by performing a fragment in a given time (not less than ¼ of the finished work).

DURING THE OLYMPIAD COMPETITION

During the Olympiad competition, the participant is NOT ALLOWED to:

  • have electronic devices (pocket computers, communicators, phones, players and other technical equipment) with them and/or at their workplace;
  • bring their own paper (the organizers will give you paper for drafts in the auditorium);
  • communicate and exchange any material items with other participants;
  • get up from their seats without the organizers’ permission;
  • during the Olympiad competition, participants are prohibited from leaving the auditorium. In exceptional cases, a participant is allowed to leave the auditorium for 5-10 minutes accompanied by the organizers.

At the end of the allotted time, you are required to stop completing the task and hand over to the organizers:

  • Olympiad forms; drafts (signed)

  • Piano – soloists, Piano ensembles (only on one instrument, 4 hands)

Requirements for participants in the nominations “Art and Culture”:

  1. Instrumentalists perform one piece of free choice, no more than 5 minutes.
  2. Vocalists perform one piece of free choice, no more than 5 minutes.
  3. Dancers perform one dance no more than 5 minutes.
  4. Theaters present one number, no more than 10 minutes. (If more than 10 people are involved in the production, the time can be increased by agreement with the Organizing Committee)
  5. Fine arts provide one work in any technique and defend it before the jury by reproducing a fragment of the work of at least ¼. All necessary materials must be brought with you.

JURY:

The jury of the Olympiad includes teachers from leading schools and universities in England and Italy

The cost of the standard package is 700 euros.

The price of the standard package includes:

For guests staying on other days, the cost of transfers is calculated based on the number of people and time. (official meeting time from 09 – 18 hours – included included in the package price. Attention! The organizing committee does not guarantee accommodation with other participants to reduce the cost. Participants and managers must themselves distribute the wards according to the principle of dividing boys/girls or other options, taking into account that if one person remains, then the tariff will be charged according to the announced price list if the hotel does not have rooms with four or more beds.

Participation is possible without purchasing a package, upon payment of an registration fee of 50 euros per participant + additional payment for soloist/small forms. In this case, the participant undertakes to arrive independently at the festival site on time.

Responsibility for the correct spelling of the full name and other details lies with the Participant. All data filled in the Application will be copied into the Diplomas. Replacement of diplomas, certificates and diplomas will be made only upon written request and sent by courier service at the participant’s expense.

The organizing committee reserves the right to change the schedule and routine.

The decisions of the jury are not subject to appeal or challenge. All issues, if any, are discussed at the round table. At the end of the Festival, participants and teachers have the opportunity to discuss the results with the jury members and exchange opinions.
