Goals and Objectives of the Festival-Competition:
Promotion and popularization of humanistic ideas and intergenerational continuity through comprehensive creative development of the individual;
Popularization of patriotism, strengthening of moral and civic values within the festival movement;
Preservation and development of national cultures, strengthening of interethnic ties and cooperation;
Creation of an environment and conditions for creative communication among youth;
Fostering artistic taste and introducing young performers to the best examples of world culture and art;
Identification of talented, gifted youth and assistance in their creative growth;
Enhancing the professional level of creative groups and individual performers participating in the festival;
Exchange of experience and creative achievements among festival participants;
Creation of conditions for creative interaction and talent identification;
Attracting leading culture specialists and art figures to cooperate with creative groups;
Establishing creative contacts between group leaders;
Enhancing professional skills and qualifications of creative group directors;
Creation of an atmosphere of creative celebration.
Jury of the Competition: International Jury.
The competition is held in the format of an audition in the presence of the jury and the public.
Competitive performances of groups are evaluated by a professional jury.
Any violation of the competition regulations results in a deduction of points when evaluating the performance.
Decisions of the jury are final and not subject to appeal.

2nd category: 6–8 years old
3rd category: 9–11 years old
4th category: 12–14 years old
5th category: 15–17 years old
6th category: 18–20 years old

NOMINATIONS:
Instrumental Creativity: classical, pop, folk, jazz, solo on various instruments, ensembles, piano ensembles (performance on two grand pianos permitted), orchestras, mandatory/general piano, percussion instruments;
Vocal Creativity: classical, folk, folklore, pop, jazz, choral, show groups (solo, duets, trios, ensembles, choirs);
Decorative, Applied, and Fine Arts;
Fashion Theater: fashion theaters and young fashion designers;
Original Genre: artistic recitation, circus art, etc.;
Theatrical Creativity: miniatures, play excerpts, puppet theater, movement theaters, dance theaters, etc.;
Host of Game Programs for Children and Youth / Master of Ceremonies (MC);
Dance Creativity: folk dance, pop dance, classical dance, modern, jazz-modern, free movement, breakdance, children’s dance, competitive ballroom dancing (solo and ensembles), and other styles;
Other Nominations: in accordance with accepted applications.

Competition Awards:
Results and awards are presented separately by nomination and age category. Awards include Grand Prix winners, Laureates of I, II, and III degrees, festival participant titles, special diplomas, and others. The number of prize diplomas is unlimited and depends solely on the level of the performance program presented.
Grand Prix winners will receive cash prizes or commemorative gifts.
There is a special ORGANIZING COMMITTEE AWARD, independent of the JURY’S decision.
Winners of the MC COMPETITION will be invited to future events organized by LLP “Organizing Committee of International Competitions and Festivals ‘World Music in Kazakhstan'” and the Bulgarian Organizing Committee “Alliance of Talents”.
The jury reserves the right to share places among participants. Awards are divided accordingly.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to add nominations or split/merge categories according to received applications.
The Organizing Committee cannot influence scoring by jury members or the awarding of titles to participants!
Organizational and Technical Requirements for the Competition Program:
Instrumental, vocal, and dance groups present 1 item per nomination, with a total duration of no more than 5 minutes.
Each performer in the “small forms” category (solo, duet, trio, quartet, quintet, sextet) presents 1 item with a total duration of no more than 5 minutes.
Theater groups present 1 item: up to 6 minutes for up to 5 performers; up to 10 minutes for 6–10 performers; up to 15 minutes for over 10 performers. Competition plays may be performed in any language.
Performers in the “Artistic Recitation” nomination under “small forms” present 1 item (e.g., poem and prose), with a total duration of no more than 3 minutes.
Fashion Theaters present 1 collection show: up to 6 minutes for up to 5 performers; up to 10 minutes for 6–10 performers; up to 15 minutes for over 10 performers.
In “Decorative and Applied Arts”, 1 piece of personal craft/work is evaluated. Free-style technique; works framed in paper matting (passe-partout) are accepted. Author’s Full Name, age, teacher’s surname, and city must be indicated. Participants must bring all materials to execute a fragment of the submitted work within the allotted time and explain its meaning and technique.
For participants performing to backing tracks: audio files must be sent by email no later than 14 days before the event. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Each sound recording must be a separate file indicating ensemble name / performer’s surname (in Latin script), title of the piece, and exact duration. Backup audio must be on a USB Flash Drive named as: track title, group, city (e.g., “Romance”, Iskorka, Tyumen). No other files should be on the USB drive.
In Vocals, pieces are performed exclusively to backing tracks (“minus”; recorded back-vocals allowed only in chorus). Singing over lead vocal tracks (“plus”) is prohibited.
In the MC Competition, participants choose one option:
On-stage speech: short speech on the festival topic (1–2 minutes);
Compering: announcing competition program entries for «Scheherazade’s Kaleidoscope»;
Short presentation about an outstanding person (poet, composer, etc.);
Indoor game program during an animation event (games, contests, riddles for children/youth/mixed audience, up to 10 minutes).
In “Children with Disabilities”, participants present 1 item of choice in their genre.
Dance groups present 1 item per nomination (up to 5 minutes). Each additional item is evaluated and awarded separately. If a group wins with multiple items or in multiple nominations, 1 Trophy/Cup and 1 Group Diploma are issued per winning item. Each group member receives 1 diploma and 1 medal regardless of the number of items. (If individual diplomas and medals per item are requested for members, each nomination must be paid at full rate without discount).
Preparation and management of the festival are carried out by the Organizing Committee. Performance order is set in advance; entries are conducted in blocks or as individual acts.
The Organizing Committee is the Copyright Holder and retains rights to use and distribute (without royalty fees) audio/video recordings and printed materials produced during and after the festival.
Travel and delivery of sets, props, and instruments are at the participants’ expense or negotiated via technical rider with the Organizing Committee.
Uncovered matters are resolved by the Organizing Committee, which reserves the right to adjust regulations.
Group leaders/parents automatically confirm agreement with all terms upon application, including potential participant involvement in events up to 24:00.
Awarding takes place exclusively at the Gala Concert. Diplomas and results are not issued earlier nor mailed afterward.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to disqualify participants, groups, or leaders for gross violation of internal rules, discipline, or unethical behavior.
Participants may not decline participation in the Gala Concert.
General Evaluation Criteria:
The competition uses a qualification evaluation principle. Participants are evaluated by age category via closed voting on: performance skill; artistic expressiveness (compositional, thematic, and musical unity); visual appeal (movement technique, costume, performance culture); performance enthusiasm and originality; artistry, repertoire selection, and audience response.

Groups of 7+ participants: $10 per person
Second and subsequent nominations: 30% discount. (Applied to groups only if members receive 1 diploma and 1 medal for all nominations; leader receives a Cup and Diploma per nomination. Full price applies if individual medals/diplomas per entry are requested).
