XII International Online Grand Competition “Planet of Art”

General Information

The Online Grand Competition “Planet of Art” is organized through the collaboration of the Kazakhstan International Organizing Committee “World Music in Kazakhstan” and the International Organizing Committee “Alliance of Talents”.

  • Event Dates: February 14–18, 2027
  • Results Announcement: February 20–24, 2027
  • Diploma Delivery: February 26 – March 1, 2027 (Diplomas are sent in electronic format to be printed by participants. All diplomas feature an original digital signature.)
  • Application Deadline: February 10, 2027 (inclusive)
  • Payment Deadline: February 11, 2027 (inclusive)

To discover talent, break down borders between countries through creative exchange, and motivate children and youth toward further artistic achievements.

Competition Regulations

The Online Grand Competition “Planet of Art” is hosted by the Bulgarian Organizing Committee of the International Creative Project for Child and Youth Development “Alliance of Talents,” together with the Kazakhstan Organizing Committee “World Music in Kazakhstan”.

Who Can Participate

Soloists, ensembles of all genres, creative groups, representatives of fine and decorative-applied arts, as well as children’s, youth, student, and adult theater or circus groups from all over the world. There are no age limits. Teachers of soloists and ensembles are also welcome to participate by submitting a separate application marked as “Professional”.

Categories (Nominations)

Instrumental Performance: Classical, pop, folk, jazz, solo instruments, ensembles, piano duets (performance on two grand pianos permitted), orchestras, general/mandatory piano, percussion instruments.

Vocal Performance: Classical, folk, folklore, pop, jazz, choral, show groups (solos, duos, trios, ensembles, choirs).

Decorative-Applied & Fine Arts

Fashion Theater: Fashion theaters and young fashion designers.

Original Genre: Recitation/literary reading, circus arts, and other performance arts.

Theater Performance: Miniatures, play excerpts, puppet theater, physical theater, dance theater, etc.

Hosts & Presenters: Children/youth event hosts, stage presenters/emcees.

Dance Performance: Folk dance, pop dance, classical dance, modern, jazz-modern, free movement, breakdance, children’s dance, competitive ballroom dance (solos and ensembles), and other styles.

Other Categories: Upon request and accepted applications.

Age Groups

  1. 5–6 years
  2. 7–9 years
  3. 10–12 years
  4. 13–15 years
  5. 16–18 years
  6. 18–20 years
  7. 21 and older

Program Requirements

  • Instrumentalists: 1 piece of choice, total duration up to 5 minutes.
  • Vocalists: 1 piece of choice, total duration up to 5 minutes.
  • Choreography: 1 routine, total duration up to 10 minutes.
  • Fine & Applied Arts / Designers: 1 work.
  • Reciters: 1 piece or excerpt (prose or poetry), total duration up to 5 minutes.
  • Stage Presenters: 1 speech (up to 3 minutes) on a free topic or introducing a composer, poet, writer, or artist.
  • Fashion Theater: 1 collection show, duration up to 10 minutes.
  • Theater Groups: 1 performance/staging, duration up to 20 minutes.

Evaluation & Awards

  • Criteria: Artistry, vividness of artistic image, stage presence, style and era comprehension, technical accuracy, and execution purity.
  • Scoring System: The jury evaluates on a 100-point scale. Five jury members evaluate each category (up to 20 points each). Points are summed up for the final score. If multiple candidates tie for the Grand Prix, the final decision rests with the Head of the Organizing Committee.

Awards:

  • Grand Prix: Free entry to one chosen future competition organized by “Alliance of Talents” worldwide + 20% discount on accommodation.
  • 1st Place (1st Degree Laureate): Diploma + invitation to an “Alliance of Talents” competition worldwide with free participation and a 10% discount on accommodation.
  • 2nd Place (2nd Degree Laureate): Diploma + invitation with free participation.
  • 3rd Place (3rd Degree Laureate): Diploma + invitation to a future competition.
  • Participation Diplomas: Awarded to all non-winning participants.

Note: Diplomas will be issued separately for each evaluated video and will NOT specify “distance learning” or “in absentia”.

Submission Guidelines & Video Requirements

How to Apply

Fill out the application form completely and submit it online. Applications can also be submitted directly via musicclassic.eu.
Include a link to a video hosted on YouTube or another public platform.

Video Title Format: XI Online Competition Planet of Art, Full Name, Age

After receiving the application, the Organizing Committee will send an invoice. Once paid, send the receipt via email.

Email Subject Line Format: PAYMENT FOR ONLINE COMPETITION FOR [PARTICIPANT NAME]

Alternative Example: ONLINE COMPETITION PLANET OF ART – IVAN IVANOV MOSCOW FLUTE or SUNSHINE ENSEMBLE CHOREOGRAPHY

Video Technical Requirements

The video must be unedited and recorded without cuts. Recordings can be made in home or stage environments.

Introduction: Before performing, the participant must state on camera: Full Name, Age, Country, City, Date of Recording, and Program/Piece titles (up to 2 extra minutes allowed for introduction).

For Designers & Artists: State details on camera, then show close-ups of the artwork accompanied by voiceover explanations (technique, concept, idea). Attaching high-res photos to the application email is recommended.

Pre-existing videos (recorded within the last 6 months) are accepted ONLY IF the participant’s name is announced in the video and the recording date is verifiable.

  • Soloists: 6,000 KZT / 1,000 RUB / 15 EUR per entry.
  • Duets, Trios, Quartets, Quintets: 4,000 KZT / 800 RUB / 12 EUR per person.
  • Groups (6+ participants): 1,500 KZT / 600 RUB / 5 EUR per person. (Participant list is MANDATORY).

Payment accounts (KZT, RUB, USD, EUR, or VISA card) will be provided after application submission. Participants may submit an unlimited number of entries, with a separate fee per video.
