Pianists aged 10 to 23 years, students of children’s music schools, art schools, specialized schools, music colleges and schools, and higher educational music institutions are invited to participate.
1st round – polyphony and etude
2nd round – national piece or extended/virtuoso piece and large form (1 part or 2 and 3 parts of a classical sonata or classical variations or 1 part of a concert).
The program must be appropriate for the age of the participant or be higher in difficulty.
At the competition, the competitive-qualifying principle of evaluating the competitive program is applied.
The jury evaluates using a 100-point system.
Participants who have scored 80 points are admitted to each subsequent round.
The results of the competition and awards are carried out separately by age groups and include:
Share places between participants who scored equal points (the prize is divided accordingly)
The Grand Prix award will not be awarded if there is no candidate with the maximum score.
During the competition, add previously unannounced prize nominations (for the best performance of polyphony, national piece, etc.) if there is a free prize fund.
The prize fund consists of the registration fee of participants and directly depends on their number.
For participants in the age categories 10-12 and 13-15 years old, the registration fee is $80
For participants in the age categories 16-19 and 20 and older, the registration fee is $100
If you refuse to participate in the competition, the registration fee is not refunded.

Please send accreditation materials electronically! Applications completed manually or by telephone will NOT be accepted. The application for each participant must be sent in a separate file. The file must have the name: participant’s full name, age, nomination, city.
Submitting an application for participation implies FULL AGREEMENT with the terms of the competition and GUARANTEED payment. Once applications are accepted, the ADMISSION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE!
For guests from other cities and countries, we organize invitations to apply for a visa, air tickets, and hotel accommodation.
Economy option: $250 + registration fee
The price includes: 4 nights in an economy class hotel for 2-3-4 people per room, breakfast, transfers from/to the airport or train station, sightseeing tour of Almaty.
*optional visit to the Medeo high-mountain skating rink and ice skating.
