First International internet-Grand competition «Art of the planet»
Basic information about the competition:
The internet-Grand competition “Art of the planet” is held as part of international project that contributes the creative development of children and youth “World Music in Kazakhstan”
The date: from 1st of September until 15th of December, 2015
The aims and objectives:
Identification of the talents, disclosure of borders between countries by sharing creative talents, motivation of children and youth for the further success.
The internet-Grand competition “Art of the planet” is held within Kazakhstan Organizing committee of international project that contributes the creative development of children and youth “World Music in Kazakhstan” Application deadline from 1th of September until 15th of December, 2015 Announcement of the results in 15th of January, 2016
To participate in the competition are invited:
Musicians of various directions and ages, ensembles, orchestras, chores, duets, trio, quartets and other minor forms, instrumentalists, vocalists and etc.
Choreography: dancers of all directions (folk dancing, stylized dancing, ballroom dancing and etc)
Artists, designers, theaters of fashion, theater groups, readers, entertainer.

Requirements for the program
For instrumentalists 1, 2, 3 age categories – 2 works of free choice, total duration not more than 5 minutes. For instrumentalists 4, 5, 6, 7 age categories – 2 diverse works. It is desirable if performance is polyphony or a large form + composition of own country’s author or composition of a technical nature. The total duration is not more than 8 minutes. Herewith it is permitted to perform a fragment of the composition. (For instance, the fragment of a sonata from beginning to reprise).
For vocalists: 1, 2, 3 categories – 2 diverse works of free choice and the total duration is not more than 4 minutes. 4, 5, 6, 7 categories — 2 diverse works of free choice and the total duration is not more than 6 minutes. Choreography: for all categories and ages – 2 performances, but not more than 6 minutes in total. For decorative and applied arts, and designers – 2 works. For readers: 2 works or fragments: prose and poetry. The total duration is not more than 4 minutes. For entertainer: 2 speeches for different themes, but not more than 4 minutes in total. The speech in free theme and the second as a representation of any composer, poet, writer, artist. For theatres of fashion: 1 performance, but not more than 4 minutes. For theatre groups: 1 performance, but not more than 5 minutes.
Assessment criteria: artistry, the brightness of the artistic image, scenic excerpt, understanding of era’s style, technical precision, purity of performance. Evaluation: the jury evaluates by the 100 point system. In every nomination 4 members of the jury are involved in evaluation with 25 point each. The total score is calculated by adding all points.
When choosing a candidate for an award Grand-Prix, there are candidates with an equal points, then the last word remains to the Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
In each nomination and age category awards of 1, 2 and 3 degree, 1, 2 and 3 diplomas are selected. The Grand-Prix in one for all nominations and age categories.
The jury has the right to share degrees and diplomas and other awards among participants.
All participants who did not win in this competition are awarded with diplomas “For participating”.
All diplomas will be sent by post in 20 days after announcing the results.
Awards: The Grand-Prix of the competition – 300 euro premium 1st place – “gold” laureate diploma of 1 degree and invitation to one of the competitions, organized in any country by the Organizing Committee international project “World Music in Kazakhstan” with exemption from payment of registration fee. 2nd place – “silver” laureate diploma of 2 degree. 3rd place – “bronze” laureate diploma of 3 degree.
Special prize “Audience award” by the results of votes on YOUTUBE and SMS-voting
All other participants will be awarded by diploma “For participating”.
All participants will be invited for one of the competitions, organizing in any country by the Organizing Committee of international project “World Music in Kazakhstan” (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Bulgaria, Italy). Applications are sent fully filled in the electronic form. The application form you may download on our website www.musicclassic.kz . For applications also you have to include link to your recording on YOUTUBE with the name “the competition «Art of the planet», Name & Surname” or sent in the attachments by your email and a copy of the receipt of payment of registration fee. Requirements for recordings: the recording must be without any gaps and mounting. Recordings may be in any situations, both at home or professional halls. The participant before performance should say: their names, surnames, ages, country, city and performing works. On presentation is given an additional minute. For designers, artists, decorative and applied arts – recordings with representation of their names, surnames, ages, country, city, name and description of works – technic, image, idea. While representing the participant on the recordings, the participant himself must be shown, then close-up work and voice “behind the scenes”. It is also desirable to send a photo of the work in the attachments with the application.
Registration fee:
Participants from Kazakhstan pays fee of 4500 tenge (postal services for sending certificates included)
Participants from CIS countries pays fee of 25 euro (postal services for sending certificates included)
Participants from other countries pays fee of 30 euro (postal services for sending certificates included)
Registration fee is paid to the account in Tenge or Euros or card account VISA.
Applications without a copy of the payment receipt will not be accepted. In an account should be indicated the code of beneficiary 17, in the payment order — organizational fee for participation in Internet-Grand competition “Art of the planet”.
